Privacy Policy
What this website collects and where it goes. It describes the site as it is actually built, not a template.
This policy is written primarily under Switzerland's revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG). Where a visitor is located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the GDPR applies alongside it, and this policy addresses that too.

Controller
The controller responsible for personal data processed through this website is Sheikh Ahad Ahmed (Sheikh Properties). Full address and contact details are listed in the Impressum. For any privacy question, write to sheikh.ahad.ahmed@gmail.com.
What I collect
The enquiry form on the contact page asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message. Signing up for the Brief asks for an email address only. No other personal data is requested anywhere on this website.
Why I process it
Enquiry data is used to reply to your message. Brief sign-up data is used to send the market note you asked for. Neither is used for advertising, profiling, or anything beyond what you asked for.
Where it goes
Both forms submit to a webhook operated by Zapier, Inc., a processor based in the United States, which routes your message so it reaches Sheikh Ahad Ahmed directly. Submitting either form therefore involves a transfer of personal data outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area. I work only with processors bound to protect your data appropriately. I never sell your data, and I never pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
Third parties are contacted only when you choose to
Video walkthroughs on this website show as a still image served from this same domain, not from YouTube. Only when you click to play does a video player load, from the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. Until that click, no request reaches Google or YouTube, and no third-party cookie is set.
Fonts
The three typefaces this website uses (Prata, Switzer and IBM Plex Mono) are hosted on this domain. None are requested from Google Fonts or any other external font provider, so your device never sends its IP address anywhere for the sake of displaying text.
Server logs
Like any website, the infrastructure that serves these pages automatically records standard technical information for each request (IP address, browser type, timestamp) in short-lived server logs, for security and operational purposes. This happens for every visit regardless of consent, is standard technical operation, and is never combined with the form data described above.
Retention
Enquiry and Brief sign-up data is kept only for as long as needed to respond to you or, for the Brief, for as long as you remain subscribed. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time; see Your rights below.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG), you can ask Sheikh Ahad Ahmed what personal data is held about you, request its correction or deletion, and object to its processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the GDPR grants you the equivalent rights, including data portability, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority instead.
Changes
This policy is updated whenever what this website actually does changes: a new tool, a new form field, a new third party. The date at the top of this page always reflects the last change.
